Context

In support of a prime-time TV-based marketing campaign promoting a new line of clothing available only through an online store, the development organization is required to design and write a new Web-based application to process the expected influx of orders. The application must then be deployed to over 1000 distributed servers so that it is up and running for the start of the marketing campaign the following week.
