The proposal should be completed and reviewed with the stakeholders to gain their acceptance and agreement. With stakeholders agreed, the proposal is sent to portfolio management who will review the suggestions and make decisions as to add to the plan based on IT direction, benefit, IT alignment, and cost. IT Portfolio Management will the finalize the proposal into the SIP and initiate any change request that is required to execute upon the new plan.
