Details

IBM® Tivoli® Netcool Performance Manager for Wireless (ITNPMW) allows service provider environments, like network operations, to monitor networks. ITNPMW determines network quality by continuous monitoring of designated quality indicators. ITNPMW provides the intelligence to improve network utilization and increase network productivity. You can drill down from the high level view using diagnostics, allowing system operators to investigate the location and root cause of network quality problems. It helps dictate and predict additional infrastructure spending requirements, facilitate introduction and perception of new value-added services. It also capitalizes on emerging network technologies, supporting next generation services; execute network-wide analysis of infrastructure performance.

Performance Management

ITNPMW offers the most comprehensive and flexible PM feature set and the industry's largest library of off-the-shelf network interfaces. It's scalable with seamless aggregation and correlation of data from multi-vendor, multi-technology networks. Plus, our technology packs include pre-built network interfaces for most technologies, including UMTS, GSM, GPRS, CDMA, IP and others.

ITNNA provides the intelligence to:

  • Capture and analyze vital network metrics, generating operational task lists based on measured network degradations
  • Help dictate and predict additional infrastructure spending requirements
  • Facilitate introduction and perception of new value-added services
  • Capitalize on emerging network technologies, supporting next generation services
  • Execute network-wide analysis of infrastructure performance
