Perform analysis of incident data to determine if there are any trends.  Such a trend may indicate an underlying fault that needs to be resolved.  Resolving this root cause may prevent many new incidents from being raised.

This task includes the following:

• Identify and Extract Data
• Sort and Filter Data
• Identify Trends (i.e. occurrence of specific types of incidents)
• Graph Results (i.e.. Histogram, Pareto Analysis)
• Identify Incipient Faults, Recurring Problems, and Shortcomings
