Role: Compliance Manager
The Compliance Manager is responsible for the overall compliance to specific standards and regulations. This role provides education to IT personnel concerning standards and regulations, provides mechanisms for being compliant, initiates audits as needed, and provides the overall strategy for responding to compliance issues. There may be multiple compliance managers, based on the number of standards and regulations that must be adhered to, but only one such role will own the overall compliance process.
