Details

IBM® Tivoli® Compliance InSight Manager collects, normalizes, and evaluates events against a policy.

Exceptions to policy are evaluated and assigned a priority dependent on the elements participating in the event.

Assets are assigned to groups (classifications) and each group is assigned a priority. These priorities are used in evaluating the overall severity of an event.

Therefore by correct assignment of relative priorities of assets groups, the event severities will reflect the overall relative importance.
