Main Description

What is COBIT®?

The Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT) is an internationally-recognized standard for the control of IT processes. COBIT identifies what the objectives of IT processes should be, but not how those objectives are met. It is a business orientated framework that identifies high-level control objectives, grouped by domain.  Each high-level control objective is supported by a number of detailed control objectives. Each one of the high-level control objectives references IT resources, and the quality, fiduciary and security requirements for information.
