The Business Perspective describes the important aspect of meeting business needs using IT services. This
involves understanding the needs of the business and aligning IT objectives to meet business needs. In addition,
external service suppliers must be managed.
Volume 1 focuses on IT's view of meeting business needs, whereas volume 2 describes the business side's perspective of
how their needs are met by IT.
The following processes are involved in the Business Perspective:
IT Governance is addressed by the A1 Governance and Management System. Standards are addressed by Compliance Management. Quality Management is an inherent part of the A1 Governance and Management System.
