Capacity Management focuses on the planning and improvement of service capacity. This involves modeling,
estimating, tuning, and application sizing. A major aspect of this process is creating the Capacity Plan. The creation of a service level agreement (SLA) typically involves specifying the capacity

Capacity is closely related to availability. That is, if a service or resource does not have sufficient
capacity, it may be considered to be unavailable by users. In addition, of a specific resource within a service
is unavailable, the capacity of that service may be reduced.
Capacity improvements may be proposed via change requests, which are sent to the Change Management process.
