Description
| This is the portfolio gating mechanism, which means that management confirms the IT Portfolio targets. It approves accepted
project charters and provisions resources, cancels projects and de-commits resources, approves the IT plan and authorizes
funding for IT operations. The aggregate of these decisions establishes the contents of the IT Portfolio, and the detail of
them represents the IT Plan. The IT plan provides the basis for the day-to-day management of IT. |
