This activity is designed to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of different aspects of the Data Management
process, by ensuring that all the necessary information necessary for its management is available for making informed
decisions related to the process.
The evaluation of process performance identifies areas that need improvement. This includes the foundation and
interfaces of the process, activity definitions, key performance metrics, the state of supporting automation, as well
as the roles and responsibilities and skills required. Insights and lessons learned from direct observation and data
collected on process performance are the basis for improvement recommendations.
