A deployment record should indicate the status of the deployment.  Examples of status include:

• Scheduled - The deployment of the release has been given a firm deployment date or period. 
• Prepared - The deployment has been communicated to the relevant parties, end-user training has taken place, and/or other preparation tasks have taken place.
• Implemented - The release has been rolled out (either successfully or unsuccessfully)
• Cancelled - The deployment is either rejected or cancelled.
• Closed - The deployment has been completed, reviewed, and closed.
