This process is responsible for identifying:

The infrastructure (people, processes, technology) necessary to support the required services in the event that the
continuity is invoked.

The actions that would then be taken to result in successful invocation of the IT Service Continuity Plan.
It is also responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the plan and takes into account changes to critical business
services and changes to the infrastructure that these business processes use. This process culminates in the creation
of the IT Service Continuity Plan, which is then placed under change control and also forms part of the Business
Continuity Plan.
