Description
This activity determines the scope of service catalog content for both sales to external clients and utilization by
end-users once specific services are installed for a client. It develops the service catalog specifications from
requirements already identified and creates and maintains standard templates for service descriptions. The service
descriptions (including standards terms and conditions, available levels of service, etc.) are loaded into the service
catalog. The activity also establishes and enforces editing/archiving rules, authorities and accountability of the content
and regularly validates the accuracy of Catalog content with service owners and IT Management using the governance defined
in the process framework. |
