Assign roles to activities.

Identify tool opportunities, specifically automation. Flush out tool requirements.

Include process improvement sub-process and activities.

All procedures concerning the configuration control should maintain the integrity of systems, services, and configuration items.

Configuration auditing procedures should specify that CI variances will be recorded, corrected, and reported on. 

Configuration management procedures should include the ability to identify, track, and control versions of CIs. The amount of control should be appropriate for the business, the nature of the service, and the risk of failure.
